Pacific Natural Foods, an all natural and organic food company, recently introduced a line of Soup Starters, a new division of their soup bases and starters. The inspiration for this new line came from Pho, a popular Vietnamese noodle soup that generally takes 8-10 hours to prepare. The company created an organic beef, chicken and a vegetarian option that only takes a few easy steps: heat up Pacific’s Pho Soup Starter, add cooked rice noodles and stir in meat or vegetables. Top with fresh condiments and herbs such as fresh basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, sriracha, lime, etc to personalize each soup.

This is a great alternative to when you don’t have time to make soups yourself as well as a great way to enjoy Vietnamese soups. Tim Ramsey, vice president of sales and marketing for Pacific Natural Foods stated, “Global cuisine can often be intimidating to make at home. With Pacific’s new Soup Starters, if you can chop vegetables and boil water, you can have something exotic, unexpected and delicious on the table in 20 minutes.”

The new Pho Soup Starters are also the first Pacific products to feature QR Code technology on-package, which will feature recipes, cooking demos and shopping lists for consumers. The Soup Starters retail for $3.49-$3.69, and they are currently available in stores nationwide.
